World No.1 Caroline Wozniacki experienced flying a plane in an Airbus A320 flight simulator ride last night. Caroline flew an almost 12-minute flight from Istanbul to Copenhagen. If only that trip was actually 12 minutes!
WTA’s Stacey Allaster was also there and was presented with a Turkish Airlines model airplane.

This past June, Vera Zvonareva, Victoria Azarenka and Jelena Jankovic traveled to Turkey to unveil Istanbul as the site of the upcoming WTA Year-End Championships. Top WTA players in Tokyo for the Toray Pan Pacific Open participated in the opening ceremony and an event to pay tribute to the victims of the March earthquake and tsunami. World No.1 Caroline Wozniacki also said a few words while the players held a sign saying “Gambaro! Nippon!” meaning “Let’s carry on! Japan!”

From every angle, Serena Williams was absolutely smashing in her Burberry dress at the WTA Tour Pre-Wimbledon Party tonight in London. The defending Wimbledon champion even tweeted her thanks to Christopher Bailey and Burberry before arriving to the party.

This Wimbledon, the British Fashion Council and the WTA are pairing the best of Britain’s fashion designers with 15 tennis pros, making strong even more beautiful in London.
The players will debut their dresses at the Wimbledon party on June 16th.
