Last year she won the Junior Girls’ doubles titles at the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open, with Hungarian partner Timea Babos. She’s cited Venus Williams, Serena Williams and Kim Clijsters as her inspirations in tennis, and Sloane might be on that list for another young girl someday [...]
Q: Did Venus buy all of those hats yesterday?
S. Williams: The past few days she has been in hat mode: She has been in all the foregrounds and I was in the background. She loves to shop so I was a little disappointed.
Q: So she is going to bring back a bunch of hats. What do you take back…
S. Williams: Usually something that goes on my ass (…Laughter).
