Being completely subjective: Kim Clijsters is awesome. I don’t think anyone could say anything other than she’s the sweetest person on the Tour. I was lucky enough to attend her last-ever professional match and press conference. She was in good spirits and ready to start the next chapter of her life.

Kim Clijsters is featured in a the new Citizen Eco-Drive advertising campaign and is referred to by Citizen as an “Unstoppable Ambassador” because of her consistent drive to succeed. Her image, and a Citizen watch, is alongside campaign’s slogan, “Be Precise. Be Powerful. Be Unstoppable.”

Kim Clijsters made a new friend today at the Lone Pine sanctuary in Brisbane – Theresa, an 8 year old koala. Kim held the koala and daughter Jada got in on the fun too, petting the adorable animal.

Kim Clijsters was awarded Belgium’s Sportswoman of the Year at a Sports Gala, which she attended with her husband Brian Lynch, today in the Eurocam Media Center in Lint. Clijsters won the award for the eighth time (with 661 points) and was presented her award by Justine Henin.
