Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka defeated Mark Knowles and Michal Mertinak 6-1, 7-5 to book a spot in the semifinals against Rafael Nadal and Marc Lopez.

Superstar match-ups, comeback against consistency – this was some of the tennis we were supposed to see. Instead, our beloved afternoon of quarterfinals at the BNP Paribas Open was unfortunately cut shorter than fans would have liked.

Brangelina has nothing on this couple. World, meet Djoicki – aka Novak Djokovic and Viktor Troicki. The BFFs are playing doubles together in Indian Wells (in the Quarterfinals now against Rohan Bopanna and Aisam Qureshi) and had to play each other in singles today. Nole won the match 6-0, 6-1.
