If this weekend’s World Group II Playoffs taught us anything, it’s that French Fed Cup girls know how to have fun when they celebrate. The team Gangnam-styled their way to defeating Kazakhstan 4-1 in Besancon, France and then proceeded to celebrate with champagne in the locker room.

Alize Cornet (first above) and Virginie Razzano (second above) won their Fed Cup matches today. Not that shocking of a statement until you find out that their opponents were Svetlana Kuznetsova and Maria Sharapova, respectively.

Team Russia is gearing up for their Fed Cup tie against France in Moscow this weekend, led by Grand Slam champions Maria Sharapova and Svetlana Kuznetsova. Former No.1 Dinara Safina will also play for Russia. The tie will take place on hard courts at the Olympic indoor stadium

Sandra Reichel, Patricia Mayr, Sandra Klemenschits, Alize Cornet and Ioana Raluca Olaru got all decked out for the players party of Nurnberger Gastein in Bad Gastein, Austria.
Today, Alize Cornet of France upset number 1 seed and returning champion, Andrea Petkovic, 6-2, 7-5.
