The WTA’s best (minus Victoria Azarenka, who just finished up winning a title in Luxembourg) posed at the official photo shoot for the TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships in Istanbul, Turkey. Sam Stosur, Petra Kvitova, Caroline Wozniacki, Maria Sharapova, Li Na, Vera Zvonareva and Agnieszka Radwanska were dressed to the nines.
This past June, Vera Zvonareva, Victoria Azarenka and Jelena Jankovic traveled to Turkey to unveil Istanbul as the site of the upcoming WTA Year-End Championships. Today at the China Open, the WTA had the grounds covered for the fans to see their favorite players! Sam Stosur played a pick-up-the-ball game at the Usana booth, Ana Ivanovic signed autographs at the Sony Ericsson booth, and Sofia Arvidsson posed for pictures at the Jetstar booth (with a cute plane too!).

Sam Stosur attended a welcome home ceremony in Gold Coast City today. Along with 100 metres hurdles world champion Sally Pearson, Sam was given a rousing welcome and handed the keys to the city.

US Open champion Sam Stosur arrived home to Australia today! Sam landed at Brisbane Airport and was greeted by her father, Tony Stosur.
Sam told The Australian, “I’ve never had a welcome like this coming home. So each day something new happens. It’s still a little but unreal for me but I’m loving every minute.”
