The 2013 Word of the Year – “selfie” – has taken over the world so it’s only natural that the tennis world is into it too. However went it comes to the team event of Davis Cup, aren’t they more “groupies” than “selfies?” That’s a life question for you.
Roger Federer is one of the biggest supporters of the selfie, so when almost 2000 fans turned out to watch his Davis Cup practice in Geneva this week, it wasn’t a surprise that as many fans as possible were trying to get a selfie with the Swiss star. Team Italy took it a notch further, taking a ”Super” selfie.
