Adidas globally launched the first adidas by Stella McCartney collection today in Melbourne with the help of the world’s first all-mirror court. Caroline Wozniacki, Maria Kirilenko and Laura Robson were there to show off the collection and hit some balls to each other (and their reflections).

Q: Did Venus buy all of those hats yesterday?
S. Williams: The past few days she has been in hat mode: She has been in all the foregrounds and I was in the background. She loves to shop so I was a little disappointed.
Q: So she is going to bring back a bunch of hats. What do you take back…
S. Williams: Usually something that goes on my ass (…Laughter).

Huh? The fashionistas are at it again. A lot of expense for what? The outfits will be worn on tennis courts. The mirrors are distracting but do present an interesting texture; but not one that will help sales.
