Serena Is Boring, Has Insomnia

Serena Williams has revealed not only is she no longer fun, but she can’t sleep.

Serena said Brisbane’s new year fireworks kept her up, saying “I’ve been having insomnia. I heard all the fire-crackers and I would have loved to have seen it but I had a match today so I didn’t do anything fun. I was actually playing Uno on my iPad which was kind of fun. I don’t know, I’m a geek.”

Well, that sounds like fun, right?

“I’m really boring now. I used to be fun. For a fun time, call Serena. Now for a fun time, do not call me – I don’t know what happened to me,” she said. ”I think I just got older and I realized I can’t be that fun girl for the rest of my life. I think that’s pretty much what it is. I could be the oldest No.1. I don’t know how that goes with the funnest.”

Despite her lack of sleep and not being fun anymore, Serena still defeated Alize Cornet 6-2, 6-2 to reach the quarterfinals of the Brisbane International.
