If you’ve never been to an Olympic games, it’s important to know just how important pin trading is: Very. Pinning is essentially another sporting event and, what’s great, is everyone from spectators to athletes get to participate. Venus Williams defeated Aleksandra Wozniak in straight sets today (6-1, 6-3), which gave her plenty of time to trade pins with the crowd.
I’ve been a pinster since I attended the Atlanta Olympics in 1996 and I personally think my collection is quite impressive. But if anyone is in London now and wants to help feed my addiction, please feel free to let me know. I’ll trade you.
