A great father’s day for 34-year-old Tommy Haas, who defeated fellow father Roger Federer 7-6, 6-4 to win the ATP Gerry Weber Open in Halle. Speaking of fathers, that’s Tommy’s father-in-law below, David Foster, snapping a picture with Mirka Federer. Seems like this final was a little bit of laid back fun compared to… other things that happened today.

Q: Did Venus buy all of those hats yesterday?
S. Williams: The past few days she has been in hat mode: She has been in all the foregrounds and I was in the background. She loves to shop so I was a little disappointed.
Q: So she is going to bring back a bunch of hats. What do you take back…
S. Williams: Usually something that goes on my ass (…Laughter).
