Tonight in Medellin, Colombia, Venus Williams made her comeback to the tennis court in an exhibition against her sister, Serena.
The night began with a greeting from the girls. “Buenas tardes, estamos felices en Colombia,” Serena said. Venus followed with “estamos alegres en nuestra primera visita a Colombia a Sudamerica.”
A crowd of some 8,000 fans watched as Venus defeated Serena 6-4, 7-6 in 1 hour and 33 minutes on the clay court.
Earlier today, the sisters played tennis with some local kids (watch the video!).
