After his 7-6, 6-4 win over Albert Ramons at the Kremlin Cup, Dmitry Tursunov said, about the future of Russian tennis:
“Unfortunately for now I don’t see any bright tennis player of Marat Safin’s caliber among representatives of the young generation. But then, who knows, maybe some young player will make it, though it’s really hard to break through these days in men’s tennis – it takes perseverance and, of course, a big talent.”
