Yesterday in Perth, Andy Murray got some last-minute training in outside for his Hopman Cup match, today against Italy. Lleyton Hewitt also hit the practice court, fresh off his win from Sunday, and was all-smiles at a press conference.

Q: Did Venus buy all of those hats yesterday?
S. Williams: The past few days she has been in hat mode: She has been in all the foregrounds and I was in the background. She loves to shop so I was a little disappointed.
Q: So she is going to bring back a bunch of hats. What do you take back…
S. Williams: Usually something that goes on my ass (…Laughter).
