Just days before Christmas, Agnieszka and Urszula Radwanska took part in the Szlachetna Paczka (Worthy Parcels) charity, helping a family in need. The Polish sisters chose a family to support from a database of candidates and went to a supermarket in the Nowa Huta district to get items the family would need.
“We wanted to help this family, because life must be really hard for them,” said Agnieszka. “They live in a tiny studio apartment… no doubt it’s extremely difficult for them to make ends meet.”
“I liked this idea very much from the very beginning,” said Ula. “Everything we chose, we thought about a particular person – we knew their sizes, their favorite colors. We feel that such assistance makes sense, that it is really effective. We hope to bring smiles to their faces and make their Christmas time special.”
