James Blake’s Serving For a Cure Event

James Blake’s 2010 Serving For a Cure was a hit Tuesday night. Held at New York’s Jazz at Lincoln Center, attendees included tennis legend John McEnroe, fashion designer Donna Karan, tennis champions and twin brothers Mike & Bob Bryan, O Magazine’s Gayle King and TV personality Star Jones.

The event raised more than $500,000 for the Thomas Blake, Sr., Memorial Research Fund, which James established in honor of his late father to support cancer research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.  The legendary Patti LaBelle and R&B soul singer Ryan Leslie topped off the evening that also featured a pros vs. guests ping pong challenge.
