Nenad Zimonjic, Viktor troicki and Novak Djokovic have offered the apparel they wore during their Davis Cup win to be auctioned for charity. The auction is being organized at the Belgrade club “mistik,” began Monday and will last until December 27. All proceeds will go toward the efforts in helping the city of Kraljevo, which experienced a 5.4 magnitude earthquake on November 3, 2010, damaging many buildings and killing two people.
After only two days for each of them has been offered some 20,000 Dinars (approximately $250). The largest interest is for the jersey belonging to Novak Djokovic, and organizers expect the price to reach between 150,000 and 200,000 dinars.
Besides tennis players, others have donated to the charity auction, including handball player Vladica Stojanovic and footballer Nikola Petkovic.
