Via The Voice Of Russia, Vera Zvonareva and Mikhail Youzhny have been acknowledged Russia’s best tennis players. They were awarded the National Prize “Russian Cup” in the categories “Best male tennis player” and “Best female tennis player” of the year.
The head of the Russian presidential administration Sergei Naryshkin admitted that his family has a special liking for these athletes. Zvonareva and Youzhny, in turn, thanked their coaches, who had led them to their respective victories.
