It didn’t matter if you wore black or white, Andy Murray you were just not on your game today. Not even a wardrobe change could save Murray from such awful play. Roger Federer defeated the Scot 6-4, 6-2.
“I’m surprised, I really am, that I was able to win my service games that comfortably. That’s not to the norm against Andy, who is one of the best return players, if not the best, in the game right now. So I’ll take that is all I can say,” Federer said.
The Murray family (+1 Sears) looked anything but happy during the match. Jamie Murray’s new wife Alejandra Gutierrez, Jamie Murray, Judy Murray and Kim Sears were all sorts of non-expressive. I like the purple, Judy.
