Weekend Wrap Up: Atlanta, Gastein, Hamburg & Slovenia

In an all-American final, Mardy Fish defeated friend John Isner 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) to win the Atlanta Tennis Championships.

Germany’s Julia Goerges defeated Switzerland’s Timea Bacsinszky 6-1, 6-4 to win her first WTA Tour at the Nurnberger Gastein Ladies Tournament.

Kazakhstan’s Andrey Golubev of defeated Austria’s Juergen Melzer to win the International German Open in Hamburg, Germany. His first ATP title is also makes him the first man from Kazakhstan to ever win an ATP World Tour title.

Russia’s Anna Chakvetadze defeated Sweden’s Johanna Larsson to win the Banka Koper Slovenia Open in Portoroz, Slovenia.
